Liansheng Miao Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Liansheng Miao is the founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Mr. Miao is also the founder and Chairman of Yingli Group, a privately held company. Mr. Miao also serves as the Executive Director on the Photovoltaic Committee of the China Renewable Energies Association, the Vice Chairman of the China Rural Area Electricity Supply Association, the Vice Chairman of the China Cells Industry Association, the Director of the Hebei New and High Technology Industry Association, and the Director of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Mr. Miao holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Beijing Economics Institute and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Peking University in China.
Xiangdong Wang Executive Vice President
Mr. Xiangdong Wang is the Executive Vice President at Yingli Green Energy. Prior to joining Yingli in 2001, Mr. Wang served as the Chief Accountant for Baoding Public Transportation Co., a company that provides urban public transportation services. Prior to Baoding Public Transportation Company, Mr. Wang was at Baoding Coal Co., a company engaged in the purchase and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas, and Baoding Sewage Treatment Plant, a sewage treatment facility. Mr. Wang received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from China People’s University in China, and a master’s degree in Economics from Hebei University in China.
Zhiheng Zhao Senior Vice President
Mr. Zhiheng Zhao is the Vice President at Yingli Green Energy. Prior to joining Yingli Green Energy in 2004, Mr. Zhao was the Head of the Project Department of Tianwei Baobian, a manufacturer of large electricity transformers and the holder of the minority interest in Tianwei Yingli, and later became the factory General Manager, overseeing the production of special transformers. Mr. Zhao worked as also the Vice President of Tianwei Baobian, the General Manager of the Baoding Electric Transformer Manufacturing Company, an electricity transformer manufacturer, and as the General Manager of the Baoding Special Converter Manufacturing Factory, a manufacturer of special electricity converters. Mr. Zhao studied Management Engineering and graduated from the East China Institute of Heavy Machinery in China.
Jingfeng Xiong Vice President and Chief Climate Officer
Mr. Jingfeng Xiong is the Vice President and Chief Climate Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Mr. Xiong has been with Yingli Green Energy since 2000, and has served in a variety of roles, including as the Manager of the manufacturing workshops, Quality Assurance, Technical Department, System Application Department, and as the Chief Engineer. In addition, Mr. Xiong initiated and led research and development projects for the optimizing and automation of Yingli Green Energy’s vertically integrated production lines to improve yield rates, cost savings and increase cell conversion efficiencies. Mr. Xiong received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Hebei University in China.
Xiaoqiang Zheng Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Xiaoqiang Zheng is a Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Mr. Zheng has been with the company since 2000 and has served in a variety of roles, including as the Manager of the Wafer Workshop, Manager of the Research and Development Center, Chief Engineer of the Technical Department, as well as the Equipment Manager and Production Planning Manager. Mr. Zheng received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Hebei University of Technology.
Yiyu Wang Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Yiyu Wang is the Chief Financial Officer of Yingli Green Energy. Prior to joining Yingli in 2006, Mr. Wang served as a Senior Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1996. From 2003 to 2004, He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Wang received his bachelor’s degree in International Finance from Shanghai University in China.
Dr. Dengyuan Song Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Dengyuan Song is the Chief Technology Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Dr. Song has more than 27 years of experience in the research and development of solar cells, silicon materials and semiconductor PV devices. Mr. Song also has more than 10 years of experience in polycrystalline silicon cells, thin-film solar cells, and third-generation solar cells at the ARC Photovoltaics Centre of Excellence at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining the University of New South Wales, Dr. Song served as a professor at Hebei University in China, where his teachings and research covered a broad spectrum of topics, including solar cells, silicon materials, photoelectric devices and automation engineering. He has published and presented over 150 papers in scientific and technical journals and at various PV industry conferences. Dr. Song received his bachelor’s degree in Microelectronics Engineering from Hebei University and his Ph.D. degree in Photovoltaic Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
Judy Lee Chief Marketing Officer
Ms. Judy Lee is the Chief Marketing Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Ms. Lee has been with the Company since 2009 and was formerly the Director and VP of Global Marketing. Ms. Lee is responsible for the Company’s global marketing and brand strategy initiatives, advertising and promotion campaigns, as well as the Company's major marketing sponsorships such as the FIFA World Cup™. Prior to joining Yingli, Ms. Lee served as the Assistant Vice President, Investment Research Analyst on Wall Street at Piper Jaffray & Co. covering the China cleantech and renewable energy industry, as well as Chinese Internet companies. Ms. Lee received her dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Japanese from the University of California at Berkeley.
Qing Miao Vice President of Corporate Communications
Ms. Qing Miao is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Yingli Green Energy. Since 2005, Ms Miao has served a variety of roles at Yingli including the Director of Investor Relations and has extensive experience in investment and finance. She specializes in investment analysis, risk assessment, and capital market financing. Prior to joining Yingli, Ms. Miao worked for Tom Online Co., Ltd. Ms. Miao received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from University of Monaco in France and participated in the Competitive Marketing Strategy Train of Hull University.
Conghui Liu Vice President and Director of Investments
Ms. Conghui Liu is the Vice President and Director of Investments at Yingli Green Energy. Ms. Liu has been with Yingli Green Energy since 1998 and has served in a variety of roles, including the Vice Manager of Finance, Investment & Development Manager, and Investment Management Director. Ms. Liu received her bachelor's degree in Financial Investments from Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics in China and her Master’s degree in Investment Management from University of Management and Technology.
Gang Wang Vice President
Mr. Gang Wang is the Vice President at Yingli Green Energy. Prior to joining Yingli in 2007, Mr. Wang served as the Vice President for China Household Appliances Import & Export Co Ltd. Mr. Wang received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics in China and his Executive Master’s degree from Xiamen University in China.
Cindy Zhiyan Hu Chief Commercial Officer
Ms. Cindy Zhiyan Hu is the Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Yingli Green Energy. Ms. Hu has been with Yingli Green Energy since 2006, and has served in a variety of roles, including the Head of Research and Development, GM of Technology Center, Technical Director and Vice President of Technology. In the past 10 years, Ms. Hu led the company's R&D team to conduct the research and implementation of key technologies and innovations for Yingli’s vertically integrated production lines. Ms. Hu also initiated and executed on many R&D projects which received scientific and technological achievements rewards, thus making big progress in improving product quality, reducing manufacturing cost, and promoting company's core competitiveness. Ms. Hu received her Masters degree in Microelectronics from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
