Yingli Solar: From Suorong to Ninghe ——A Testament of Trust

  • Publish Time:2026.03.25

Recently, two commendations from different parts of China simultaneously arrived at Yingli Solar. One came from the depths of the Western Sichuan Plateau, a resounding affirmation from the developer of the world's largest hydro-solar complementarity project, naming Yingli an "Outstanding Supplier for Project Commissioning and Power Generation." The other originated from the shores of the Bohai Sea—a sincere thank-you letter from the Ninghe District Committee and Government in Tianjin, expressing gratitude for Yingli's deep-rooted presence and contribution to the region's high-quality development.

A few months ago, at the Yalong River Basin Water-Wind-Solar Integration Base, where altitudes exceed 4,800 meters, Yingli's project team remained stationed on-site from the very beginning of construction, with not a single member leaving their post throughout the entire process. Ultimately, Yingli became the first among all suppliers to complete deliveries, earning three separate commendations from the project owner.

Almost simultaneously, at the Rimini Exhibition Centre in Italy, Yingli Solar appeared at the Italian International Renewable Energy Exhibition. Facing this crucial EU market, which spans multiple climate zones, Yingli prioritized environmental adaptability over simply listing product specifications. From the severe cold and heavy snow of the Alpine foothills to the high salt-spray corrosion along the Mediterranean coast, Yingli's modules leveraged their anti-PID performance, corrosion resistance, and low-light response to address a core question: how to ensure a single photovoltaic module delivers stable power generation across vastly different climate zones.

In Tianjin's Ninghe District, Yingli Solar was crafting another form of "deep integration." In 2025, Ninghe District was officially recognized as a "National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone," while Yingli Development (Tianjin) Company received honors including "Tianjin's First Batch of High-Quality Development Enterprises." More notably, Yingli Solar's three major wind power projects in Ninghe are poised to begin full construction within the year. Upon completion, they are projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 400,000 tons annually. From solar PV to wind power, from individual projects to an integrated industrial presence, Yingli Solar is transforming from a mere "supplier" into a "co-builder" of the region's green transition.

Looking across these developments, a clear thread emerges: whether it's the extreme delivery demands of the Western Sichuan Plateau, the scenario-based adaptation required for the European market, or the deep recognition from local governments, Yingli Solar's method for earning trust remains remarkably consistent. In an industry shifting from policy-driven to consumption and application-driven growth, this ability to "deliver on promises" is becoming a rare competitive advantage.

As a Yingli Solar representative stated, the company has navigated every cyclical adjustment in China's PV industry and deeply understands that opportunities often lie within these shifts. The key to seizing these opportunities is not chasing trends, but continuously strengthening technology, deeply engaging with application scenarios, and fulfilling commitments. From the snowy peaks of Suorong to the industrial forefront of Ninghe, Yingli Solar is providing vivid proof of this principle, one project at a time.
